Curious about the world around us? Hone your investigative skills during this fun week of nature exploration! Aspiring ecologists entering 6th-8th grades will love this week as we explore the woods to learn what animals live there, learning about cells and genetics, and dive deeper into how scientists study habitat health. Extended care is not available for this week.

This one is for the girls!  Gather up your adventure-loving friends entering 6th-8th grades and join us for a girls-only camp experience. We’ll hike through the woods, tromp in the stream, do teambuilding in the meadow and much more!  Several female role models who are outdoor enthusiasts will join us during the week to help us explore everything Asbury Woods has to offer! Extended care is not available for this week.

Nature’s Playground is expanding this year! We had such a great response to this camp last year that we have increased the length and number of offerings. We will offer 3 camp themes over the summer. Each child may attend one week in each option.

Nature’s Playground is designed for our youngest campers’ growing minds and bodies. During Roots, Shoots & Leaves, campers will spend four half days discovering plants and the animals that need them. Each camper needs to bring a healthy snack and water bottle daily. All children must be potty-trained at the start of camp and able to use the restroom without assistance. Campers attend this program independently.

Do you have what it takes to survive in the wild? Campers will learn the basics of surviving outdoors through fun and challenging activities. Learn how to build a shelter, navigate using a compass, start a fire, and much more! The schedule for this camp will be Thursday 9:00 AM - 3:30, Friday 9:00 AM drop off, an overnight camping experience with a cookout on Friday, Saturday morning pickup by 10:00 AM. This camp is for children entering 6th-8th grade.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are the themes during this fun camp! Be ready for hands-on experiments, idea-sparking projects, and outdoor adventuring that will make you rethink the world around you. This camp is for campers entering 3rd-5th grades.
